Consortium
I am pleased to announce that, in collaboration with Neshaminy High School Director of Bands Michael Pettis and Euphonium Soloist Michael Fahrner, I am launching a consortium to compose a new work for solo euphonium and high school wind band! Check back here for updates throughout the summer on progress, including videos, notes, and a rolling list of consortium members.
Information
A detailed document outlining the project can be found here.
What is this piece?
What are the benefits of being a consortium member?
I would love to join, but my program can’t afford it.
How do I join?
This will be a through-composed work for grade 4-4.5 high school wind band about 8-12 minutes long. It will be written for Neshaminy High School’s instrumentation. The solo part will be for professional euphoniumist.
Consortium members are paying for exclusive performance rights up to one year after the world premiere by Neshaminy High School, electronic delivery of music upon completion, your program’s name listed in the score (and on this web page!), and the opportunity to work with Fahrner and myself to make this the most musically and educationally rewarding experience for your students as possible!
I urge you to reach out anyway! I am more than happy to work with schools in any way I can.
Interested parties can reach out to me here to express their interest or ask any additional questions you may have before deciding.
